After many years at Williams Street, 2017/2018 season saw us transition into our new Clubrooms in the sporting hub of Frankston at Frankston Yacht Club.
Frankston Yacht Club (our MPTC clubrooms) is located on Long Island Drive, Frankston. For those who know that area (but not necessarily the FYC), if you turn into Davey Street (towards the water) there is a narrow bridge at the end, drive across the bridge, and there is parking on your left. The parking is paid parking or requires a Frankston Resident Permit. There is free parking along Nepean Highway, however this will require a short walk across to the Yacht Club.
With some of the best amenities of any Victorian Tri Club, we have full clubrooms and hot showers, bar on social occasions and views second to none. FYC function room is located on the lower level of the Frankston Yacht Club building, providing views of the lights of Melbourne by night and the sweeping vistas towards Portarlington by day through the full-length windows and deck access. With easy access to the open water, Nepean Highway for a ride and the foreshore boardwalks and Oliver’s Hill for a run, you know you are on a good thing when it comes to training and socialising with MPTC
