John is a life member of MPTC and has been around the club for over 15 years in various capacities.
He is a keen age grouper and is passionate about triathlon and got involved in the sport when it began in Victoria in early 1982. He has witnessed the phenomenal growth and evolution from races
arranged by local service clubs such as Lions and Rotary, Yacht and Life Saving clubs where most competitors were men 16 and over to the sophisticated offerings around today including
multi class and kids and men and women of all age. There is also a wide variety of races on offer.
John has competed in races at all distances from mini through to IM. Also very passionate about our Frankston base which is a great place to be.
